SKUP evaluation of cobas pulse for glucose measurements

SKUP is a Scandinavian group that performs independent evaluations of the analytical performance and user-friendliness of laboratory equipment and rapid tests used for point of care testing (POCT).

The report from the SKUP evaluation of cobas pulse has now been published on our web site. It is a POCT system for measurements and monitoring of glucose, and is intended for professional use. This evaluation was performed at one hospital laboratory and two primary health care centres to determine the analytical performance and user-friendliness in the hands of the intended users. The analytical performance specifications for repeatability (CV%) and accuracy were fulfilled. The performance specification for user-friendliness was fulfilled.
