Alcohol biomarkers in urine (292)

The purpose of the scheme is to enable participating laboratories to evaluate their performance in analyzing the included components by comparing their results with those of other laboratories, and to monitor analytical quality over time.

The scheme is aimed for laboratories that determine ethyl glucuronid (U-EtG) and ethyl sulphate (U-EtS) in urine.

The test material is freeze-dried urine with addition of U-EtG and U-EtS, two samples in each round.

Frequency: 6/year

Reports: Normally within one month from closing date.
