Equalis INR calibrator kit
Calibrator kit for the calibration of the PT (INR) Owren method.
Equalis has produced our last lot of the calibrator kit (43-45), expiration date 2028-08-31. As of May 8th 2026 the calibrator cannot be purchased directly from Equalis anymore.
Nordic Biomarker, producer of the MRX PT Owren reagent, is developing an INR calibrator for the Owren method. They have a storage of Equalis INR calibrator kits lot 43-45 for purchase until their calibrator kit is launched onto the market. Contact: order@nordicbiomarker.com.
The calibration measurement results are to be used for calculation of the local ISI value, the intercept and the normal coagulation time. This can be performed by locally verified algorithms or by using the excel file below (in English). The calibrator is classified as a class C IVD product according to IVDR. Equalis INR calibrator kit is a legacy product and thus follow transition rules. The present lot number is CE marked according to IVDD and follow the parts of IVDR already implemented for legacy products.
