Quantification of JAK2 V617F (515)

The purpose of the scheme is to provide participating laboratories with the opportunity to quality-assure their genetic methods for quantifying NM_004972.4(JAK2):c.1849G>T (p.Val617Phe).

The scheme is aimed for laboratories that perform quantification of NM_004972.4(JAK2):c.1849G>T (p.Val617Phe) using real-time PCR or digital PCR. These two PCR methods have proven to offer sensitive and comparable quantification, providing added value for participating laboratories by offering a quality measure of how well their quantification performs.

The sample material is extracted DNA, two samples in each round

Frequency: 1/year

Reports: Normally within two months from closing date.

Swedish laboratories register on our Swedish site. Laboratories from Denmark or Norway register through their national distributors, DEKS (Denmark) or Noklus (Norway). Laboratories from other countries can send an application to participate as international participants.
